Course Objectives

The course aims to fulfil the following pedagogical objectives:

  • Participants are able to successfully plan, prepare, conduct and document internal and/or 2nd party audits.
  • They are familiar with relevant legal requirements and requirements from international standards related to management systems and audits.
  • They are aware of the importance of communication during audits and are aware of “communication traps”.

Course Curriculum

  •  Relevant Commission Regulations incl. AMC / GM and ICAO regulations related to Management Systems, Safety Management Systems and Compliance Monitoring / Quality and Safety Assurance
  • Theoretical background with regard to audits based on ISO 19011 (Guidelines for auditing management systems)
  • Procedures and practical tools for planning, preparation and conduct of audits
  • Audit reporting, implementation and monitoring of corrections and corrective actions
  • Required profile for Auditors
  • Soft-skills such as communication, human factor problems and how to overcome them
  • Appropriate case studies to apply and further the theoretical knowledge

Suitable For

Future and current Auditors, who must conduct audits as required by the Compliance Monitoring System / Quality System or the Safety Management System.

Pre-requisites

It is suitable for any person even if without any previous experience or knowledge into this field.

Knowledge of English language is required due the fact all training activities and training materials are in English language.
