Course Objectives

The course aims to fulfil the following pedagogical objectives:

An Introduction to EASA Regulation and the global aviation rulemaking system.
Basic knowledge of the requirements and responsibilities of management personnel and stakeholders of Continuing Airworthiness Management, Maintenance, Operation and Part-21 organizations.
The fundamental elements of a quality system as well as the responsibilities of the Accountable Managers and Management Personnel in the establishment and management of the company’s quality and auditing system.

Requirements for audits
Structure and objectives of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
Competence of the National Aviation Authorities
The National and international aviation regulatory system, in particular the EASA legal requirements of the following European Regulations:
– Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1321/ 2014 and amendments thereof, Annexes I, Part-M; Annex II, Part-145; Annex III, Part- 66; Annex IV, Part-147
– Commission Regulation (EC) No. 748/ 2012 and amendments thereof, Annex Part-21
– Commission Regulation (EC) No. 965/ 2012, Operation and amendments
