Course Objectives

The course aims to fulfil the following pedagogical objectives:

  • An Introduction to EASA Regulation and the global aviation rulemaking system.
  • Basic knowledge of the requirements and responsibilities of management personnel and stakeholders of Continuing Airworthiness Management, Maintenance, Operation and Part-21 organizations.
  • The fundamental elements of a quality system as well as the responsibilities of the Accountable Managers and Management Personnel in the establishment and management of the company’s quality and auditing system.

  • Overview of Quality & Safety Management System
  • Requirements for audits
  • Structure and objectives of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)
  • Competence of the National Aviation Authorities
  • The National and international aviation regulatory system, in particular the EASA legal requirements of the following European Regulations:
    – Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1321/ 2014 and amendments  thereof, Annexes I, Part-M; Annex II, Part-145; Annex III,  Part- 66; Annex IV, Part-147
    – Commission Regulation (EC) No. 748/ 2012 and amendments  thereof,  Annex Part-21
    – Commission Regulation (EC) No. 965/ 2012, Operation and amendments

Pre-requisites

It is suitable for any person even if without any previous experience or knowledge into this field.
