Practical

This practical training course, approved by the Competent Authory, provides the basic practical experience and a discount in terms of required practical experience (up to 2 years) to apply the EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License (AML).

To get the basic experience granting a significant discount for AML application (up to 2 years according to the category and sub-category).

Get a basic competence/experience in performing safe maintenance, inspections, and scheduled works according to the aircraft maintenance instructions.

Timelines

Practical Training

Students will perform practical training in real maintenance working environment (Part-145, M.A. Subpart F, Part-CAO, FAR-145, MRO, etc.).

The whole SEC or/and internship periods in Italy/EU are available for those students willing to enjoy an international training experience.

After completing 528 hours of SEC

After course completion, and after the required basic knowledge is gained (module exams), students will be able to apply for EASA Part-66 License in as short as 2-3 years depends on category of license. At the end of SEC a certificate of successful completion of training will be issued. Additional minimum of 2-3 years experiences of work in Part-145/MRO permits the students to apply for the EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License.

*Without Skilled Engineer Course, 5 years of work experience is required for the same EASA Part-66 Aircraft Maintenance License.

Practical Training & Assessments

528 hours

Practical training covers a wide range of tasks in terms of lenght, complexity and variety. It includes 6 different parts as follow:
1 - Basic practices of aicraft maintenance environment.
2 - Mechanics.
3 - Electrical.
4 - Sheet metal.
5 - Avionics.
6 - Trouble shooting.

At the end of each part a formal assessment will be performed.
